Things Never To Say On A Hot Date

People often say the darnest things, and this is especially true on first time dates. Usually this happens not because both parties want to be offensive in any way, but because there is that nervous strain resting on both the guy and girl. From a guy’s point of view: sometimes, we are so desperate to impress the girl, we tend to blurt out topics which we know should never be said. Often too, we do not even realize the damage we’ve done until the girl walks out on us.

So here are a few personal guidelines as to the things guys should never say on a hot date.

1. My last girlfriend / wife left me because … This is the biggest uh-uh in the offing in case you want to see this girl more. You are practically stirring a hornet’s nest here, and guess who will be stung? Keep your conversation positive and focused on your date. You certainly will not feel comfortable if she started about her exes.

2. I got this great software that can help me elevate my pips during non-trading hours. So okay, you are a trading junkie but does she really need to know that? I mean seriously; this is what you want to talk about on a first date? Even if she is a trading junkie as well, talking shop is not the best way to a girl’s heart.

3. My brother cut his hand this morning and there was blood all over the place. This type of conversation is okay if you are hanging out with your buddies over beer and Buffalo wings. As a rule, though, girls find this a bit too much –especially if you just ordered an extra rare steak.

4. I hate my job; my car just died on me; my neighbor makes too much noise. There is a difference between wining and dining a girl and just simply whining. Keep your negative comments at bay. You certainly do not want to frighten her away.
